Best Intentions performed magnificently during their opening slot at the Penny Theatre, this 4 piece from Maidstone really set the scene for a good evening of outstanding music and proved a hard act to follow!
Best Intentions delivered more than their band name would lead you to believe! A big fusion of sounds that has roots in the 60’s, 80,s and modern day indie-psych-rock. What a privileged place to lose yourself in!
A very pleasing vibe that has a nice flow and good sound mix which held the attention of the audience.
They produced a really tight performance with a classy Beatles-esq hint on vocals, this comes to the front on their track ‘Good Advice’ taken from the same titled E.P.. Overall the band offer a sound that The Black Keys and Jack White would be proud to deliver!
Best Intentions are actually a very, very good thing indeed and are another band from Kent; Maidstone in fact, who will no doubt go on to play to bigger audiences and be noticed for their style of music that will appeal to a multitude of age groups.
This fine 4some really do get the best from their instruments! Both lead and rhythm really worked well playing off and into each other, whilst the drums kept the perfect beat that the bass played into.
